Masonic geometry of Washington D.C.

The Mars Missions

In parts 1 through 4, the mathematic, geometric, astrometric, and geodetic parameters of Washington D.C. were outlined, and with these the connections to Freemasonry.  This final part will connect these realities to the Mars missions of NASA, and to Mars itself (and thus answering the question about why the background color of this series is red!).

Recall that Mars is connected in two important instances to the prime stars of Masonic astrology:

   A) in the D of I chart, Mars is conjunct to the belt of Orion by ecliptic longitude:

 Figure 5-1

   B) in the L'Enfant Sunset chart, Mars is conjunct Sirius by ecliptic longigitude:

 Figure 5-2

We find again and again that these stars are used in specific elective astrological alignments for a myriad of governmental undertakings.  We have seen that this astrological technique was adopted from traditions within or adjunct to Freemasonry.  We have also seen that these techniques are closely linked to priciples of sacred geometry -- a supposedly universal mathematical language perfected by the ancient Greeks.  Therefore, should we not be surprised to find similar signatures of this kind on Mars?  Not according to Richard C. Hoagland, who has been closely watching the saga of NASA's Mars missions for over 30 years.  He contends that the Cydonia region of Mars -- where the "face" was discovered in 1976 -- is awash in this sacred mathematical language, and has placed the evidence on the internet for scrutiny.

It was only recently, however, that I noticed an interesting correlation between Hoagland's Cydonia and Washington D.C.  A "conspiracy" website that calls itself The Forbidden Knowledge has posted a comparison of Cydonia and the District that shows the uncanny similarities.  This site goes further to make comparisons to Avebury in England.

Although these comparisons are far from being definite proof that Mars hosts artificial megalithic-type structures and "cities," they do warrant further investigation.  We might assess how NASA views Mars by looking at the launch data for the 15 probes that were sent to Mars since 1964.

The geodetic connection between Cape Canaveral and Giza was confirmed by Mary Anne Weaver in her INVESTIGATION INTO THE ENTERPRISE MISSION'S PROPOSITION THAT THE 19.5 AND 33.0 DEGREE STAR ALIGNMENTS CONSTITUTE A PATTERN:

"I can only speculate, but I will mention some possible connections here. There is a connection between Cape Canaveral and Egypt that goes beyond Cape Canaveral's translated "Spanish" name, which means "cape of reeds" (corresponding, perhaps, to the Egyptian "field of reeds" or the afterlife). When Mintaka is 33 degrees below the horizon at Cape Canaveral, Sirius is 33 degrees above the horizon in Giza, Egypt. Also, when Mintaka is within a degree of the meridian at Cape Canaveral, it is also at 19 degrees in Giza (depending on whether the Nadir or "Midheaven" meridian is utilized). When Alnitak is 33 degrees below the horizon at Giza, Sirius is at 19 deg 50 min below the horizon at the Cape. And so on."

This obsession with the "19.5" and "33" is most blatant when considering the landing coordinates of the Mars Pathfinder, which "touched down" on the surface of Mars on July 4, 1997, at latitude 19.5 north and 33 east in the Martian grid system.  And so the pattern continues through the rest of the Mars missions, which can be followed by clicking on each particular mission at the end of this page.  Before we get there, I want to point out some of the more notable astronomical alignments.

The first of the Mars missions, Mariner 3, reveals an interesting lunch chart that incorporates planetary alignments to the Masonic Square as outlined in our examination of the Sibly chart.  This chart, shown next, reveals the close alignments of Luna, Mars, and Saturn with Graffias, Regulus, and iota Aquarii, respectively:

 Figure 5-3

It also contains a copious amount of quintile and related aspects, perhaps in the tradition of the evidence laid out in the first four parts of this study of Washington D.C.  There are no less than 8 aspects in the 5th harmonic and two in the 10th; The two that are deciles share a similar planet, Venus, and can be expressed as [MA -36- VE -36- SO].

Mon Qnt Plu 224' S
Sun Dec Ven 053' A
Sun Qnt Mar 135' S
Mer Qnt Ura 004' S
Mer Qnt Plu 150' A
Ven Dec Mar 043' S
Ven Qnt MC  223' S
Jup Qnt Asc 113' A
Sat Qnt MC  012' S
Nep BQn Nod 002' A

The chart with only the above aspects shows the displacement:

 Figure 5-4

Relocated to Giza, Egypt, the important [MA -36- VE -36- SO] combination is on the meridian:

 Figure 5-5

Mariner 4, which launched 23 days after Mariner 3, was launched with Spica culminant, and a bi-quintile from the Moon to Saturn:

 Figure 5-6

Relocated to Giza, we find that Mintaka, in the belt of Orion, is at the symbolic altitude of -33.  This fits within the parameters established by the research of Richard Hoagland.

The quintile pattern of the chart for Mariner 6 is even more interesting than that of Mariner 4:

 Figure 5-7

This was also a day in which the Moon occulted the Pleiades; as seen from the Cape, this occultation would be visible as the Moon and Pleiades were rising:

 Figure 5-8

Mariner 8, also known as "Mariner H," was launched with a Jupiter/Graffias conjunction rising:

 Figure 5-9

As we can see, the "elective" astrological use of the fixed square of the zodiac was alive and well at NASA.  This tradition dates back to the earlist beginnings of the USA, which borrowed heavily from Masonry.  This pattern suggests a larger grand "plan" of which the USA's creation was simply an important and necessary step in the advancement of this society, and ultimately a "tool" enabling these larger mulit-generational goals to materialize -- one of which is the re-colonization of Mars.
